To enable you to achieve your goals we have created a comprehensive programme of support that you can access from day one, including the development of an individual learning plan, diagnostic assessment and goal-setting and personalised advice and guidance on module choices. To enhance your learning experience, we deliver our music courses in small class sizes with high contact teaching hours. Personal tutors are made available and informal drop-in sessions are held regularly with key course staff to ensure you can access regular feedback and one to one advice and guidance.

ICMP music school's highly esteemed teaching faculty is made up of experienced musicians, accomplished academics, qualified teachers and respected industry practitioners. They’ve shaped the face of the music business and are ready to give generous amounts of their time to help energise and inspire you. They’re highly focused on what works now in today’s music industry, and keen to pass their knowledge of the ever-changing music business landscape onto you. Above all, they’ll work hard to build and sustain a creative and entrepreneurial community which will identify emerging talent and, ultimately, support you and your classmates as the next generation of music industry professionals.

Notable ICMP tutors include: Bill Laurance – keyboardist for Grammy Award winning band, Snarky Puppy, Maurizio Malagnini – film and television music composer, Audrey Riley – arranger, composer and cellist who has collaborated with Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Muse and Spandau Ballet, Xantone Blacq  vocalist and touring keyboard player for Amy Winehouse for over 4 years , Justin Sandercoe – guitarist, songwriter, producer, whose online guitar lessons have made him a YouTube sensation.

Our Music Industry Hub and careers teams help create personalised employability and music industry advice, and you can access a wide range of audition, performance, work placement and job opportunities.

The ICMP Wellbeing team is on hand to provide learning support and counselling, and you will be able to connect with your student representatives – or become one yourself!

Naturally you have access to unlimited free wifi and online access to music course materials through a dedicated student portal at all times, and to support your learning, our fantastic and state-of-the-art music facilities are available to you for private rehearsal or practice, completely free of charge, outside of timetabled hours.
