Vangelis Polydorou has seen a wide range of success since concluding his studies with the ICMP. His recognition started whilst he was a contestant on BBC One's The Voice in 2016, beating 50,000 auditonees for a place on the live shows.
Vangelis received rave reviews from celebrity coaches Boy George, Paloma Faith, Ricky Wilson and Will. I. Am throughout his time on The Voice. He reached the Live Semi Finals of the show, and was able to perform with his mentor Boy George.
Since the show, Vangelis was asked to sing at a variety of events including the closing performance of The British LGBT Awards in the company of performers including Bryan May, Sir Ian Mckellan and Adam Lambert. He is currently embarking on a UK tour performing in iconic venues such as; Alexandra Palace, Heaven Nightclub and The Grand Connaught Rooms. Vangelis has also started working on his debut album using PledgeMusic with great success.
