David Combes is a highly regarded session singer, talent agent, and vocal coach with credits ranging from prime time television to musical theatre.
A member of the vocal coaching team for BBC’s The Voice, David has also appeared on numerous other TV shows, including several series of The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, and the 2012 ITV series Superstar. As a backing singer, he has performed with the likes of Beyoncé, Westlife, Elton John, Annie Lennox, Lionel Richie, and Kylie Minogue. In 2006, he sang at the The Prince’s Trust 30th Anniversary Concert at the Tower of London. He also sang with Lionel Richie for the BBC Prom in the Park in 2008, and, in 2009, at Hyde Park for Thank You for the Music, a celebration of the music of Abba, alongside Chaka Khan, The Feeling, and Lulu.
David runs a busy talent agency for backing vocalists and recently completed a UK tour with the ‘People’s Tenor’, renowned classical crossover artist, Russell Watson.
