Jake Wilson is a celebrated guitarist and composer. He has performed across the UK with a wide range of ensembles, playing everything from modern fusion to hard-edged blues and commercial rock and pop.
Jake was awarded a scholarship to study guitar at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. Since returning to the UK, he has performed at the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park, and at the 2013 Grand Prix, Silverstone, with Times Red from TV’s X-Factor. Recent performances on television include appearances on ITV’s This Morning and Clothes Show TV. He has also been touring original instrumental material while supporting Christophe Godin and Mörglbl.
Also a celebrated composer, Jake is a two-time winner of the David Lovatt Award. Leading ensembles and soloists, including Huw Watkins, The Ligeti Quartet, Ian Pace, The Delta Sax Quartet and The Fidelio Trio, have performed his works around the country.
