The 10th International Symposium on the Sociology of Music Education will take place at ICMP between 11th – 14th June 2017.
This is an academic conference, hosted by ICMP, drawing together music education academics from around the world to discuss issues, practices and perspectives that focus around connecting music learning and other musicking experiences with the lives, values, identities and communities of those involved.
The International Symposium on the Sociology of Music Education is a biennial event that comes to ICMP from Loyola University, New Orleans, where the group met in 2015.
All are welcome to register. Delegates do not need to be presenters in order to attend.
