Listen to Cry by new ICMP Spotlight act Face

With so much amazing success, it’s hard to keep track of all the achievements of ICMP students and alumni.

So to help, our team at The Hub is choosing a track each week from a selected ICMP artist or band from their network. Any artist who comes under the #ICMPSpotlight is one already attracting industry attention and starting to make some serious waves with music lovers and critics alike.

ICMP SPOTLIGHT: 14th November

'Cry' - Face

Made in Glasgow, yet galvanised by London, electronic-indie outfit Face (featuring our BA Songwriting alumnus Slim Gabriel) have gone from strength to strength over 2017, with their anthemic indie getting picked up by a serious array of tastemakers including Scientists of Sound, 1883 Magazine and Spindle.

Their latest track ‘Cry’ is their best moment yet, recalling the Killers at their most wide-eyed and star-struck. With a debut by Dork, the hit-in-the-making has reached the second spot on Spotify’s #indieuplift playlist and also enjoyed a spin on Amazing Radio.

The band is planning to release their debut EP ‘YESPLEASE’ later this month visa AOA/Warners and working on an planned for release in 2018.
