Former Songwriting student Sarah Close has released her new EP ‘Caught Up’ and has reached Number 1 on the Egypt iTunes chart as well as Number 4 on iTunes UK album chart.
The track ‘Maestro’ from the EP was produced by ICMP tutor, Paul Stanborough, who himself has gained a stellar reputation as in-house producer, programmer, and engineer for renowned songwriter and producer, Guy Chambers. Paul has also worked with artists as diverse as Kelis, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Janet Jackson, Mark Ronson, The Scissor Sisters, Britney Spears, Jamie Cullum and Tinie Tempah.
Sarah recently led a sold-out show at Camden Assembly which was selected as one of Record of the Day’s ‘Gigs of The Day’ which has led to a second headline date being added at Heaven this June.
Her single ‘Call Me Out’ recently featured in the Spotify UK Viral 50, where she was Number 1 as well as the Global Viral 50, where she reached Number 4 and topping the Netherlands Spotify Viral Chart.
