SONTRONICS® was founded in 2005 by guitarist, engineer and designer Trevor Coley, based on his drive to create professional-quality microphones at affordable prices.

Sontronics has always dedicated itself to education and its founder Trevor and other staff regularly give recording and microphone workshops at institutions, both in-person and virtually, as far afield as Nashville, India and Australia.
