Heavily inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, and Neil Young, Charlotte Clark aka ARK started her career in the music industry at a very young age.
Originally from Hampshire in England, where she grew up surrounded by a diverse range of music, it was at the age of 15 when she discovered Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’ that she began writing songs, and hasn’t stopped since. Charlotte's childhood was spent singing and harmonising Motown covers at home with her sisters, attending world music festivals and learning piano.
Her debut single 'Made for Us', released in November 2017, garnered quite a lot of attention and quickly went on to achieve over three plays on Spotify.
After signing a three-year contract with Kobalt, she released an EP called 'The Shadow in My Company'.
In February 2020, she performed at the BRIT Awards alongside Harry Styles, a former member of One Direction. Charlotte is currently working on new music that she is looking to release very soon.
