After graduating from our Higher Diploma programme, Ellis Mortimer has continued to establish himself as a busy international freelance bass player.
Ellis has had the opportunity to play with artists such as 'Naughty Boy’ in Rome 2013. He has also had the opportunity to share the stage with a number of other artists including Chasing Grace supporting Ellie Goulding, Samm Henshaw, Jessie J, John Newman, and Emeli Sandé. Ellis has also played many festivals since leaving ICMP such as Kendall Calling, Wireless Festival, Parklife, British Summer Time, Barn On The Farm, Reading and Leeds and many more including a number of European festivals.
Amongst all that Ellis is also a part of an originals band called HAUS where he plays Bass Guitar and Bass Synth. HAUS was formed with three other students (Sam Kelly, Daniel Hylton-Nuamah, Lyle Simpson) who also completed the Diploma at ICMP.
HAUS are currently managed by Duncan Ellis former manager of Foals, Everything Everything, Koderline, and Lianne La Havas. HAUS are now fully established and have played numerous venues across London like The Victoria and Scala and have even headlined Camden’s infamous KOKO. HAUS are touring heavily in the U.K and are heading out into Europe later this summer.
