The music industry's best producers and audio engineers discuss their careers and share advice. Next up: Sylvia Massy.
Our In the Mix series sees the music industry's best producers and audio engineers discuss their careers and share advice for anyone looking to launch successful studio careers.
Taking place on the 10th of November, our next session of the year will feature the amazing producer, mixer and engineer Sylvia Massy.
Sylvia Massy is a true studio icon, having produced and engineered an incredible list of artists including Tool, Johnny Cash, Prince, Tom Petty and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Massy is perhaps best recognized for her work on 1993’s Undertow, the full-length double platinum-selling debut for Los Angeles rock band Tool and her works with System of a Down, Johnny Cash and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Students will also have the chance to submit their music in advance of the event and receive feedback on their work from Sylvia.
