Event Details
We're excited to announce that Vicky Warwick will join us for an online Q&A on Wednesday 11th November.
Vicky Warwick is a British musician based in Los Angeles. She has been a touring and recording bass player for over a decade with multiple artists including Charli XCX, Guy Chambers, Hailee Steinfeld, Robert Delong and Tom Bailey (The Thompson Twins). She releases her own music under the moniker Ainslie and is a guest writer for Bass Magazine. She also curates her own touring blog calledWhere Are We Again?.
This online event will see her in conversation with ICMP alumna Hannah Montrose, who has most recently performed with Lizzo at the BBC Live Lounge and the Brit Awards 2020.
The two will discuss practical advice and best practices for bassists: how to prep for an audition, how to release music, how to make the most of your time in a music university, and what to do after graduation. Vicky will share insights from her own successes and failures and students will have the chance to ask questions - Make sure you get yours ready!
