With so many amazing successes, it’s hard to keep track of what ICMP students and graduates are achieving.
So to help, we're now highlighting a track each week from a selected ICMP artist or band who are already attracting industry attention and starting to make some serious waves with music lovers and critics alike.

'On The Run' - Maike
Why the track has been selected
Originally from Wuppertal in Germany, now based in London Maike blends personal lyrics with an upbeat electronic style to capitvating effect. Her stylish take on contemporary pop is perhaps best heard on her recently released track ‘On the Run’ from her forthcoming debut EP.
The single has been gaining plenty of plaudits, already featuring on Spotify’s ‘That New Jam’ playlist and gaining positive reviews from Digital Tourbus and Swedish blog Popmuzik. Previously, Maike has appeared as a backing vocalist for the Britain’s Got Talent final show, singing with Sarah Ikumu and the winner Tokio Meyers before concentrating on her solo output.
How have ICMP been involved?
The Hub assisted Maike with guidance around song development and sonic identity, strategy and planning for release and providing introductions to producers/writers.
