Charlie Thomas | Music Production Tutor | ICMP London

Formally chief in-house engineer at the Pink Floyd-owned Britannia Row studios, Charlie is a songwriter, producer, engineer and mixer based at Konk studios in London.

Raised in a small rural village outside Oxford, Charlie moved to London to launch his music industry career. After completing a short course in audio engineering he started as an intern at Britannia Row Studios. Within 18 months Charlie had risen through the ranks and taken over as chief in-house engineer and studio manager.

Now with nearly a decade of studio experience under his belt, Charlie can call some of the biggest names in the music industry as clients and collaborators. He's worked with the likes of London Grammar, Calum Scott, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Ella Henderson, One Direction, Kyla La Grange, Jakwob, Anna Calvi, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Little Mix and more, as well as running sessions in some of London’s most famous studios including Abbey Road and Metropolis.
