Dave Evans is Deputy Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Creative Musicianship programme.
Dave is a versatile electric bassist, educator, composer and arranger. He has previously supplied the low end for Lily Allen and has more recently been the touring electric and upright bass player with Billy Bragg, taking him across the world including performances at the Sydney Opera House. Other performance credits include Frank Turner, Sweet Billy Pilgrim and Blair Dunlop.
His experience as a touring and recording musician has taken him to numerous countries, including the US, mainland Europe and Australia, In the UK his touring work has included venues such as The Hammersmith Apollo, Shepherds Bush Empire, Royal Festival Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall.
