Introduction to OUR Research, Scholarly & Professional Practice
We aim to provide high-quality education and enhance student experiences. A key part of achieving this goal is the cultivation of a culture of research, scholarship, and professional practice (RSPP).
Being a crucial part of developing our academic community, this strategy outlines the priorities for 2022-2026, aims to further instill a culture of research, scholarly, and professional activity. This culture will inform the curriculum, program portfolio, pedagogical effectiveness, and ultimately enhance the student experience with us at ICMP.
Aims of the strategy:
a) Strengthen the culture of scholarship by recognising the full range of research, scholarly and professional activity
b) Collate, promote and publicise the full range of activity in which our faculty engage
c) Establish stronger links between research, professional practice and scholarly thinking to better the student experience
d) Understand the impact of research, scholarly and professional practice on pedagogical effectiveness and the student experience
e) Develop ways ro support and nurture professional development in research, scholarly and professional practice
