Thomas is one of our new members of faculty for the academic year 2021/22.
A Full Member of the Music Producers Guild and Pro Tools Expert with more than 15 years experience in studio recording and live sound mixing, Thomas is highly competent in analog recording and mixing workflows with 2-inch tape machines and large format consoles.
Thomas is also well known for mixing the highly acclaimed Brassroots album "Black Eye Friday" and the fully analog recording and mixing of "City of Sin" from Collette Cooper, which won Best Jazz Album of 2015 in Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles.
Amongst other things I've mixed 100's of TV programs the past couple of years alongside some brilliant popular podcasts!
Recently worked in the acclaimed and controversial "DAU" film project by Ilya Khrzhanovsky a staged reality set of films about the life of Nobel winning nuclear physicist Lev Landau in the form of a dozen feature films; some screened inside an extensive around-the-clock immersive installation.
