Enrolment is an important process for all new students joining ICMP in September. It's a straightforward process and our team will be on hand to guide you through it.
We'll be running enrolment sessions throughout Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th September – you can arrive any time during the 45 minute slot. Most cohorts have been split into groups, your Programme Administrators will be in contact prior to Induction Week to confirm which group you are in. What happens at Enrolment?
Please complete the CAP process online at gateway.icmp.ac.uk before you arrive.
Enrolment is a 4 step process but you may have completed some of these steps online. Each student will receive a personalised checklist on arrival detailing which steps will need to be completed in person. These include:
- Finance checks and payment queries
- Qualifications verification
- Document and ID verification
- Registration with your awarding body
Once all the steps have been completed, you will collect your ICMP Student ID card and formally register on your course.
Our Wellbeing staff will be available for any queries you may have on your finances, accommodation, or other support.
What to bring?
- If you are a UK national, you will need to bring photo ID (not a scanned copy, or photos on your phone – original documents only please!)
- If you are studying in the UK on a visa or have limited leave to remain, please bring both your visa and your passport.
- If you have been advised that you need to provide further documents to complete your registration, please make sure you bring these with you.
Do you need to see my student loan letter?
If you have a loan from Student Finance England, SAAS, Student Finance Wales, or Student Finance Northern Ireland, we should have received information about your loan already, however you may wish to bring your loan confirmation in case of any queries.
Remember, you can check your loan status by logging on to your student finance account before the start of semester, so it’s worth checking to make sure your declaration is signed, and ICMP are listed as your provider.
If you have any concerns or questions, our Finance and Wellbeing teams will be on hand to help throughout Induction week and beyond.
Do I need to register in person?
If you are a new student, we do need to see you in person so that we can verify your ID for different statutory bodies – for example, for the Student Loans Company, or the UKVI.
If you have any questions about our enrolment process, or any part of your induction week, please contact academic.support@icmp.ac.uk
