As Teaching Fellow in Vocals, Lucinda coordinates vocal provision across ICMP.
Her passion for vocal pedagogy spans across both her own teaching practice as well as leading other members of the vocal faculty. Lucinda is always keen to endorse a collaborative approach to teaching vocals which is encompassed in the ICMP vocal vision statement:
“Empowering and celebrating each individual's connection to mind, body and message through sustainable voice use."
Alongside her role at ICMP, Lucinda coaches some of the industry’s top vocalists, West End performers, and internationally acclaimed recording artists, including OBE awarded Skin (Skunk Anansie) and Grammy award winning American singer, Lalah Hathaway.
Lucinda's main objective throughout her career has often been to collaborate with other leading global practitioners.
She has spent the past 12 years honing her unique approach to vocal training, working alongside leading physiotherapists and medical practitioners to combine her knowledge of functional anatomy with the creative artistry of vocal performance.
Lucinda is currently one of the UK's leading specialists in voice maintenance and is proud to do this through her skills and knowledge in MDH Breathing Coordination, a breathing method used with singers and performers in restoring optimal function to the breathing and vocal mechanisms.
