Artist and producer Rookes has been making waves in the music industry in recent years, earning a reputation as a diverse and exciting music maker. 

Over a number of killer releases, remixes and collaborations, she’s built a fanbase alongside undertake crucial work in supporting women and gender minorities in music production and studios.

Rookes initially joined ICMP as part of our MPG Scholarship which provided her with the opportunity to study on ICMP’s one-year Cert HE Creative Music Production course

Since then, she has continued to produce and collaborate with labels such as No Such Things Records. Her latest release is a remix of Narc: 

Alongside her friend and mastering engineer Katie Tavini and Suze Cooper, she is part of the team behind 2% Rising, a project aimed at "cultivate safe digital environments for women and gender minorities to pursue their burgeoning interest in studio music making".  The initiative recently won backing from NME.
