ICMP hosted Click and Connect, a virtual networking event helping students and alumni connect with top music industry professionals.
The successful event, which took place in December and was run by ICMP's Careers and Industry Hub, saw a host of experts participate in a week of virtual sessions.
They provided advice and insight to three ICMP students and alumni on record labels, music publishers, music managers, music sync and more.
Arnaz Marker, A&R coordinator at Universal Music Publishing, Hollie Boston from Polydor Records and Michael Jarman from Closer Artists were among those professionals who took part.
James Brister, ICMP’s Industry Liaison Manager, said: “We were delighted to host Click and Connect and introduce our students to some of the most forward-thinking music industry professionals in the business. It also provided an opportunity for current students and alumni to network and build connections with each other, something that has been challenging due to Covid-19.
At ICMP, we’re well aware of the importance of your networks and how industry contacts can be vital to your career. We’re privileged to be able to use our own extensive connections to run events to plug our students and alumni into the wider industry and take their careers to the next level.”
