Congratulations to guitarist Dong-Jae Lim who has won the ICMP and Schoolmusic South Korea Scholarship competition.
Dong-Jae is a talented and passionate guitar player, best known as lead guitarist for Korean metalcore band, Monstersdive.
Alongside his band commitments, Dong-Jae is a sought-after session player and a dedicated guitar instructor in South Korea. His deep-rooted love for his instrument and determination to continuously improve have shaped his career and led him to pursue the ICMP scholarship.
The competition winner is selected from a pool of applicants who upload videos of their performances to the Schoolmusic website. The prize is a coveted music software voucher worth over £1,000, alongside 10 online one-to-one lessons with an ICMP tutor.
