ICMP's musical community of students, tutors and alumni has started the year with plenty of successful projects both on the stage and in the studio.

From performing with high profile artists to securing industry awards and deals, the talent that makes up ICMP has been busy in recent months.

Here are some of our recent success stories.

Vocal alumna and ICMP Industry Coach Izzy Chase joined our Drums alumnus Matty Brooks in performing with the BRIT Award winner RAYE on the BBC's hit show, 'Strictly Come Dancing'

The Valla features BA Songwriting alumnus George Coulson and have been on the up and up in recent times.

Highlights for the group include being played on BBC Introducing's 'Best of 2024' selection alongside supporting rising stars, the Lottery Winners.

Jordan's latest achievement is co-write and feature on a dance music track from producer Tiesto.

Brighton-born singer-songwriter Orla Rae (pictured above) is an ICMP alumna making significant waves in the UK r'n'b/soul scene.

Her latest track 'Richest Girl' was named BBC Introducing 1Xtra track of the week. Listen below:

Nectar Woode is a singer/songwriter-producer based in London and an alumna of ICMP's Creative Musicianship degree.

Her career has been an upward trajectory having recently released her new EP, 'Head Above Water', and announced a show at The Great Escape Festival in May 2025.

Nectar will also be supporting Honorary ICMP Fellow NAO on her UK and European tour.
