ICMP is delighted to partner with leading musical direction and creative studio WFB Live on our BMus in Popular Music Performance programme.

William and Ace Bowerman's business is the go-to live performance business for live show builds, also supplying players and musicians. They work with many of the industry's biggest success stories including Dua Lipa and Post Malone.

Founded in 2019, WFB Live creates live musical performances for global stadium and arena tours, television, radio performances, ceremonies, awards shows and more. The team offers bespoke musical direction, creative direction, artist development and performance coaching.

Ben Jones, ICMP's Senior Programmes Manager, said:

We are delighted to be working with a company like WFB Live. They are a true trailblazer and innovator within the live performance industry."

"However, what really inspired me was the first conversation I had with William where it became crystal clear that WFB Live and their values, particularly around inclusivity, mental health and psychological safety align fully with our own programme ethos that values the well-being of our performance students above everything else."

William will be visiting ICMP and sharing insights as part of the course's Industry Performance Standards module.

The sessions, which will begin in the second semester of the academic year, will explore best practice around performer etiquette to live arrangements, choreography and performance craft.

Commenting, William said:

Having worked in music my whole life from both sides of the stage, sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of musicians and directors in the industry is something that means a lot to me."

"The music industry is slowly developing into a space for everyone, and I look forward to the chance to participate in that by working alongside the students at ICMP."
