ICMP is delighted that BRIT Award and MOBO-nominated rock band Nova Twins’s Amy Love and Georgia South will be returning as Ambassadors for our BA Creative Musicianship Scholarship.
The scholarship is now open for applications for students joining ICMP in September 2024 and will cover undergraduate tuition fees for one UK-based student over the degree’s three-year duration.
The BA Creative Musicianship course offers students the opportunity to explore composition, performance and production and hone their creative and artistic identity in a supportive musical community.
Nova Twins are vocalist/guitarist Amy Love and bassist Georgia South, an alternative rock duo who saw their 2022 album, ‘Supernova’, shortlisted for the 2022 Mercury Prize and receive two nominations at the 2023 BRIT Awards.
The Nova Twins are so pleased to be once again working with ICMP to help provide a vital opportunity for an emerging musical talent and inspire the next generation of creatives.
From their own experiences, they know just how important an opportunity like this can be and there should be nothing holding anyone’s creativity back. They are excited to be involved in this initiative and are looking forward to hearing submissions.
Ace, ICMP's Head of Industry Partnerships and Business Development, said:
It’s brilliant for Nova Twins to return as Ambassadors for our scholarship. The group have rewritten the rule book for contemporary rock and are now paving the way forward for future generations to follow. Their support shows just how important an opportunity like this can be in launching a young creative’s music career.”
