ICMP students worked behind the scenes to help organise the Music Publishers Association's (MPA) annual Christmas lunch.

The 64th event saw more than 900 MPA colleagues and professionals from across the music publishing sector attend the event at the InterContinental at the O2.

ICMP students Killian Glemas, Lena Heil, Flo Turnbull and Alejandra Gonzalez Munoz all worked in volunteer liaison roles to support the event.

Nicky Williams, ICMP's Careers Manager, said: "I work freelance as an Events Producer in the music industry outside of my ICMP job so I invited the students to join me. I worked as Head of Artist Liaison and looked after singer Paloma Faith and comedian Tom Allen on the day."

The students worked in volunteer liaison roles, meeting/greeting and signing in all of the music industry guests. Hopefully this will open up further opportunities for them for future work down the line."

Legendary film and television composer David Arnold was presented with the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award in Film & Television Music, recognising his work composing dozens of iconic scores, from 'Sherlock' and 'Independence Day' to five James Bond films.

The presentation was accompanied by a performance from Paloma Faith and the Fidelio Orchestra.
