ICMP is pleased to announce that Jon Olliffe will be joining our already existing collection of great tutors on the new Music Production course, which starts in September.
Jon started his career following in the footsteps of Grammy-winning engineer and producer Spike Stent (Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Muse) by working at his residential studios, Jacobs. During his time there, he worked alongside a variety of high profile engineers and producers including Cenzo Townshend (U2, Friendly Fires, Thirty Seconds to Mars), Stephen Street (Blur, The Smiths, Kaiser Chiefs) and Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies and James). Jon also has freelance experience working for artists including PJ Harvey, Bruno Mars and Hot Chip to name but a few.
Jon also possesses a great amount of experience as a lecturer, as Head of Studio Sound at Alchemea, and also a Senior Lecturer at the Abbey Road Institute. He is also a qualified Pro Tools trainer.
