ICMP's Professor Sophie Daniels has appeared as a guest on the Swan Song Podcast. 

Hosted by Ben Buddy Slack, the podcast features a range of songwriters exploring songwriting, music and bereavement. 

Each guest is asked to share the story behind one of their songs and how they wrote it, share any songwriting tips and the details of any song that is meaningful to them in some way relating to bereavement. 

In a social media post, Ben said:

This was a really fun and interesting episode. Sophie is a Professor of Songwriting and has conducted a lot of really interesting research about the different uses of songwriting."

"She also writes her own great songs as Liberty's Mother. We talk about some of her research and teaching as well as her powerful song 'I Can Love You From Here'."

The Swan Song Project is a charity that aims to give people living with terminal illnesses, dealing with bereavement or planning their end stages of life the opportunity and support to write and record their own original song.
