The finale of our international Songwriting Competition with our French partner school Ecole ATLA took place at the prestigious FGO Barbara in Paris last week.
The competition saw five students from each institution performing their original songs in front of a packed house, with guests from both the schools and the industry in attendance.
ICMP students Michael Amadi, Magdalena Huber, Hakon Guoni, Freya Volk and Aislin Barraclough took to the stage in Paris alongside their French counterparts. After some brilliant performances, the judging panel chose Hakon Guoni as the winner from the ICMP, and Clara Chardon as the winner from ATLA. You can check out Hakon's performance of his winning song below:
Congratulations to Hakon Guoni, The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance winner of the Songwriting competition held in conjunction with Ecole ATLA at FGO-Barbara Paris. Big thank you to John Meldrum and all staff, students at ATLA . More videos to follow.
