ICMP alumna Sarah Close has announced she has signed a record deal with Parlophone.
The singer-songwriter and YouTube star broke the news on Twitter.
It follows a busy six months for the artist and former ICMP BA Songwriting degree student. Her single ‘Call Me Out’ featured in the Spotify Viral 50 chart where she hit the top spot in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands.
The track also peaked at number one in the Official UK Physical Singles Chart and has even appeared on hit TV series ‘Geordie Shore’ and 'Made in Chelsea'.
Recently Sarah performed at major pop festival British Summer Time in July 2017 alongside headliners including Justin Bieber and Martin Garrix .
She has also worked with ICMP tutor Paul Stanborough on production for some of her tracks. Paul has gained an enviable reputation as in-house producer, programmer, and engineer for renowned songwriter and producer, Guy Chambers.
