Congratulations to ICMP MA Songwriting alumna Leoni Jane Kennedy on being named a PRS Guitars Artist.
Our alumni has a longstanding love for PRS guitars after attending an event at the Houses of Parliament as a teenager and witnessing White Snake's Bernie Marsden playing a customised PRS Sunburst 24.
She has used a Alex Lifeson PRS Acoustic Signature Angelus from the age of 16, including on her Rush covers album 'New World Woman' as well as on tour with Rush tribute band, Moving Pictures.
In 2023, Leoni also began touring with Catherine Anne Davies, also known as The Anchoress, as her lead guitarist and opening support act.
Commenting, Leoni said: "I applied to become a PRS 'Pulse Artist', which is a programme allowing new and unsigned artists the opportunity to get on board with PRS as a representative of their brand.
"I was accepted and continued my work with The Anchoress and Moving Pictures while advertising PRS on my socials along the way."
"Through a co-operative relationship between both the company and myself as an artist, after a year's run on the programme, they decided to not only renew my Pulse Artist scheme, but to upgrade it and fully endorse me as an official PRS Guitars Artist."
