ICMP is delighted to be working with music agency Open Ear Music who will be curating daily soundtracks and playlists for our buildings.

ICMP students will be invited to submit their music to the Open Ear Music team for inclusion in their selections across both of our sites in Kilburn and Queen’s Park.

This means students’ music can receive exposure within the school. They will also receive royalties in the same way that they would from any other commercial use of their tracks.

Our new partnership also presents opportunities for their tracks to be playlisted across the wider Open Ear client base, potentially exposing them to huge audiences.

Brian d’Souza, Open Ear Founder and DJ and producer Auntie Flo, said: "We're thrilled to be working with ICMP as offering opportunities to new talent is an essential part of what we do."

It’s clear that ICMP is full of brilliant new talent and our teams are excited to hear what music is submitted by the students."

Open Ear Music's community consists of more than 2,500 different restaurants, bars, retail, hotels, fitness and events spaces including Selfridges, Flannels, Westfield, Coal Drops Yard, The North Face, Patty & Bun, Wahaca, Dr Martens, Browns, Planet Organic.. and music venues such as KOKO, New Century Hall (Manchester), and Mothership Group - which includes Patterns in Brighton, Colours in Hoxton, and more.

Chris Catchpole, ICMP's Head of Facilities, said:

This is a fantastic opportunity for ICMP students and a brilliant way of providing them with the chance to get their music played across our two campuses and beyond."

Open Ear Music was set up in 2007 to transform how businesses use music to establish authentic connections with their customers.
