ICMP will once again be partnering with the Young Songwriter 2024 competition to champion the next generation of songwriters, artists and producers.

Organised by the Song Academy and now in its 14th year, the contest invites young aspiring songwriters aged eight-22 to submit their music.

Those who enter will have the chance for their music to be heard by many of the music industry's most successful writers, artists and producers alongside winning studio experience with a top producer and new music-making gear.

Judges include Miranda Cooper, Naughty Boy, Jimmy Napes and MNEK alongside ICMP's Shane Beales, Programme Leader BA (Hons) Songwriting

Commenting, Shane said:

We're very proud to play our part in this competition and to offer young creatives an opportunity to have their music heard by some of the best songwriters and artists in the industry. I'm excited to hear the submissions."

Prizes include an opportunity to perform at the competition's live showcase, a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 3 and a one-year membership of Ad Lib, a private community of talented young songwriters (aged 13-18) around the world.

Entries are now open until 31st March 2023.
